Netflix is giving subscribers one final chance to rent discs by mail before shutting down the service for good. Earlier this week, the last customers of DVD.com — where Netflix has kept the rental business going, until now — received an email about the special and final offer.
Regardless of their subscription plans, die hards can opt to receive up to 10 extra rentals chosen from their queue, to be delivered in the classic red envelopes — for years a staple in millions of mailboxes across America.
